Bike - Tricross standard setup with Mudguards
First club ride since January. Rode together as a group 10+ for first 30, then myself Viv and Nigel for the last 45 out to Ashington and back via St Botolphs. Felt strong on the climbs and had good spells on the front in the last 30 miles.
No problems with position or knee pain at all. In fact the Tricross position is almost perfect for promoting natural ankling... need to compare against the Trek setup.
Notes
Big appetite in the evening, didn't eat enough or drink enough. Stretched after ride and had recovery drink but legs began to ache about 7pm. Went to bed 8:30pm and drank another 1.5 litres of water. Missed lunch as arrived home late and ate at 5ish. Didn't eat enough!
